Urban Automotive has unveiled its new Widetrack Avontur prototype at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed, marking the company’s most ambitious Defender project to date.
The luxury lifestyle utility vehicle headlines Urban’s display as the company celebrates 10 years at Goodwood and its growing reputation for premium Land Rover Defender personalisation.

Based on the Defender 110 Hard Top, the Avontur has been designed to combine commercial capability with luxury styling, featuring more than 36 bespoke components developed in-house.
Highlights include a new carbon fibre bonnet, bespoke rear body architecture, exposed carbon fibre load bed, integrated utility rail system and a structural rollover framework.

Urban says customers will be able to commission the Avontur in a choice of Forged Carbon, Urban 2×2 Carbon Fibre or Urban 4×4 Carbon Fibre finishes.

The company also revealed a new styling programme for the Land Rover Defender OCTA, adding a range of bespoke carbon fibre exterior components and exclusive 23-inch Urban-Vossen forged wheels.

Alongside the two Defender debuts, Urban’s Goodwood display also features personalised versions of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II, Lamborghini Urus SE, Mercedes-Benz G-Class and the Urban x Visionnaire Range Rover Autobiography.
