This all-new four-door electric coupé doesn’t just whisper about performance — it screams it. The secret sauce? A revolutionary high-performance battery with direct-cooled cylindrical cells that lets this monster recharge 400 km of range in just five minutes. That’s about the distance from Affalterbach to Spa-Francorchamps — and yes, we’re talking race track distances here.
Power, Reimagined

The new GT XX packs over 1,000 kW of power, shooting it past the 360 km/h mark like it’s nothing. The electric motors — which are smaller, lighter, and up to three times more power-dense than traditional ones — offer relentless, repeatable performance. Burnout after burnout? This battery doesn’t break a sweat.
At the back, two motors are crammed into a High Performance Electric Drive Unit (HP.EDU), while a third up front plays tag-team only when extra traction or acceleration is needed. When it’s not in use, a smart Disconnect Unit cuts it loose for better efficiency.
Made in Berlin, With Tech From Mars

The axial flux motors are being built at Mercedes-Benz’s Marienfelde plant in Berlin using over 100 production processes, with 35 world firsts and 30 patent applications already in the bag. Think laser tech, AI-powered assembly, and cutting-edge joining techniques that sound more like Iron Man’s lab than an auto plant.
Design With Heat
Gorden Wagener, Mercedes-Benz’s Chief Design Officer, calls the GT XX a torchbearer for the brand’s “hot” design language. “Sports cars have always been the icons of our brand,” he said, “and the CONCEPT AMG GT XX is no exception.” With a nod to AMG legends like the 300 SL and AMG ONE, this EV isn’t just about numbers — it’s about emotion, heritage, and a need for speed.
Coming 2026: A New Breed of AMG

With production of these high-tech electric motors kicking off in 2026, the GT XX is just the beginning. AMG isn’t abandoning its high-octane roots — it’s supercharging them with electricity.
