Maserati has officially unveiled the new MCPURA super sports car at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed; a bold evolution of the MC20.
Described by Maserati as “an expression of the purest essence of energy and performance,” the MCPURA builds on the MC20’s DNA, retaining its 3.0-litre twin-turbo Nettuno V6 engine.

Producing 630hp at 7,500 rpm and 720 Nm of torque from 3,000 rpm, the engine boasts a Formula 1–inspired pre-chamber combustion system with twin spark plugs – technology patented by Maserati and built entirely in Modena.
Thanks to extensive use of carbon fibre, including a lightweight monocoque chassis, the MCPURA weighs under 1,500 kg. That results in a class-leading power-to-weight ratio of 2.33 kg/CV and 210 CV/litre.

Butterfly doors and, on the Cielo (convertible) variant, a retractable PDLC glass roof that switches from clear to opaque in under a second, complete the package.
Both coupé and Cielo versions are produced at Maserati’s historic Viale Ciro Menotti plant in Modena. “With MCPURA, Maserati is once again regaining its rightful place: at the top and in its stomping ground,” said COO Santo Ficili. “This is where the entire MCPURA production process takes place… Modena is not just our headquarters; it forms part of our identity.”

At Goodwood, Maserati showed off the MCPURA in a striking Ai Aqua Rainbow finish – matte for the coupé and gloss on the Cielo – with magenta and blue mica accents. The model also features Ice Alcantara seats, laser-etched with the Trident emblem in futuristic, iridescent tones.

A customisation-friendly colour palette is available through the Fuoriserie programme, including over 30 shades. Standouts include Devil Orange, metallic Verde Royale, and Night Interaction, all designed to reflect Maserati’s Italian roots and luxury heritage.
